Still growing together
AwardsZone is a Charlotte original — one of the first local shops in the city to start selling online. They make awards, recognition pieces, and custom engraving for people celebrating something that matters. They already had loyal customers and a great reputation around town. What they wanted was to reach a lot more of them.
What they wanted
Plenty of people loved AwardsZone, but mostly the ones who already knew to walk in. The goal was simple and ambitious: turn all that hometown trust into real online sales, without ever taking attention away from the showroom that built the business.
What we built
We built AwardsZone an online store designed around the way people really shop, and made it easy to find the moment someone in Charlotte searches for what they sell. The business was no longer limited to store hours or foot traffic — it could be discovered, browsed, and bought from at any hour, by anyone.
What it did for them
In under six months, online sales tripled. And here’s the part most people don’t expect: the showroom got busier too, with in-store sales doubling over the same stretch. A stronger presence online didn’t pull people away from the shop — it sent more of them through the front door. The website quietly became the hardest-working salesperson on the team, and it never clocks out.
Why it matters
AwardsZone is proof of something every local business owner deserves to hear: getting online doesn’t replace your roots in the community — it grows them. Fifteen years later, that partnership is still going, and still growing.
